The solar charging cable allows pre 2024 Torqeedo Travel motors to be charged with a solar panel. You will need to purchase this cable and a solar panel with MC4 connections. Please note that this cable is NOT for the newest (2024 and newer) versions of the Torqeedo Travel. This cable is for the older models (1103 and older). Please cross reference your battery part number with these to ensure it is compatible:  1146-00, 1147-00, 1148-00, 1155-00,1416-00 and 1417-00.

For use with solar panels up to 160W with a maximum open voltage of 33v or less.


  • Compatible with third party solar panels up to 200 Wp and with a maximum open circuit voltage of 49V
  • Standard MC4 connectors 
  • Cable length is approximately 10ft
  • Two year warranty for non commercial use
  • Your Torqeedo Travel motor may need to be updated to enable full functionality. This can be done from your phone with the Torqeedo app
