The ePropulsion Spirit Tiller/Evo Top Mount Kill Switch is magnetic and shuts the motor down upon removal.

This kill switch is compatible with the ePropulsion Spirit 1.0 Plus, Evo Tiller (used with the Spirit Evo and Navy Evo electric outboards), and Evo Top Mount Remote Control (used with the Spirit Evo, Navy Evo series, and Pod Drive Evo series). This kill switch is not compatible with the ePropulsion Spirit 2.

We recommend considering the Spirit Kill Switch Ultra instead of this kill switch. It is slightly smaller and therefore does not lock into place quite as well as this kill switch, but it has a wristband instead of a clip on the end as well as a plastic cable instead of the white line on this one, which will disintegrate in the sun over time.
