Portable Electric Outboards
High horsepower electric outboards are a very new technology, but small electric outboards under 9.9hp have been around for years. The difference is that now, these motors aren't little trolling motors that need to be connected to heavy 12v lead acid batteries; they're light weight, powerful, compact, and have batteries that fit right on top of the motor. These portable outboards are quiet, easy to use, virtually maintenance-free, and ideal for dinghies, sailboats, and small fishing boats. We offer bulk discounts to yacht clubs, and marinas can purchase these motors from us at a discount, allowing them to make a margin without going through the hassle of becoming a dealer.
EV & Electric Boat Charging
We offer charging solutions for both electric boats and electric cars. Level 1 and level 2 charging can typically be achieved through existing electric infrastructure already on the dock. We offer DC fast charging through our partners at Aqua superPower; these chargers can be installed on the water for boats in conjunction with a station on land that can be used to charge electric cars. New York state has a number of incentive programs for EV chargers that can significantly reduce installation costs.
Repowers
We can help replace aging gas and diesel inboards, outboards and sail drives with electric outboards, inboards or pod drive motors. Benefits include quieter operation, instant torque, reduced maintenance, and a better ownership experience. We’re the first to admit that electric doesn’t make sense for every boater; we’re here to make sure that if a boater goes electric, they won’t regret it. We offer commissions on referrals or can support marinas if who'd prefer to do the install yourself. Sailing coach boats are a great use case for electric!
