ePropulsion's Spirit Evo is a portable 3hp electric outboard made for dinghies, fishing boats, and sailboats. It is the Wireless Remote Throttle/Steering & Hydrogeneration Charging Upgrade from the standard Spirit 1.0 Plus Tiller motor.

The ePropulsion Spirit Evo features a 1276Wh large integrated lithium battery for a long range. The hydrogeneration function is great for a sustainable sailing experience. The remote safety wristband keeps you safe in case of MOB. The remote throttle is a great options for sailors who'd like to lock the motor in place with a pin and steer with the boat's rudder. 

Other than a fresh water rinse after use and keeping the electrical contacts clean, the Spirit Evo requires no regular maintenance or winterization. The motor and battery weigh 43 pounds together, but can be easily handled on their own, weighing just 24 and 19 pounds individually. At full throttle, most users can expect a run time of about one hour and 15 minutes; at half throttle, you can double your range to about two and a half hours of run time. Exact run time depends on a variety of factors including sea conditions and hull weight and shape.

We ship the ePropulsion Spirit Evo and Spirit Battery plus via UPS Ground, typically same or next business day. Please note that the battery and motor will arrive in separate boxes.

*EMO Electric highly recommends purchasing a spare prop for the Spirit Evo if you plan to use it in shallow water. The Spirit propeller is made of plastic. While it is not delicate, it is not as durable as a metal prop. This is by design; in the even of a grounding, it's preferable to break a propeller instead of damaging the motor itself. Our spare Spirit props include two extra shear pins.
