The solar charging cable allows the Torqeedo Travel S and Travel XP batteries to be charged from a third party solar panel. Please note that this cable is for the new (2024) Travel batteries (XP, S) and is not compatible with older Torqeedo batteries (1103, 1003, etc). The charge controller itself is built into the Travel battery; this cable and a solar panel is all that you need. One end plugs into the Travel battery, and the other end is standard MC4 connectors that can plug into a solar panel.
