The ePropulsion Spirit Motor Cowling is used for aesthetic purposes when the Spirit Battery is used with a Spirit motor, but the battery is located elsewhere, not on top of the shaft. The Spirit Power Extension Cable is also necessary for these setups. The cowling is smaller than a Spirit Battery.
